Requests for repeat prescriptions must be handed in at least 2 working days in advance either in person, via online services (Emis Access) or through the post, enclosing a stamped addressed envelope before you run out of medication.
In order to use our online services to request repeat prescriptions, please click below. You will need to carry out the simple automated registration before you use the system for the first time.
Request will not be accepted over the telephone as this can lead to mistakes.
Prescriptions can only be picked up after 12.00 PM
N.B:-REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS CAN BE DROPPED IN TO DROP BOX, JUST NEXT TO THE SURGERY DOOR.
Prescriptions Charges and Exemptions
Extensive exemption and remission arrangements protect those likely to have difficulty in paying charges (NHS prescription and dental charges, optical and hospital travel costs).
The NHS prescription charge is a flat-rate amount which successive Governments have thought it reasonable to charge for those who can afford to pay for their medicines. Prescription prepayment certificates (PPCs) offer real savings for people who need extensive medication.
